Playing in the snow, Christmas 2008, and Colorado

January 02, 2009

Making yummy Christmas cupcakes.

Triston absolutely love to help Chris shovel the snow. He was talking about this for days and days.

Here's Zack trying to help out.

Snow angels.
The snow fight.

Poor Zack. The snow was clear up to his knees so he couldn't walk in it very well, but he had a ton of fun.

This year for Christmas we went to Gunnison of Course. We stayed at the farm Christmas eve and Opened presents there. There were so many to open between all of us I thought we would be there all day, but we actually got through them pretty fast with everyone opening gifts like crazy. It was a lot of fun. The boys both got bikes from Santa. They haven't been able to ride them outside yet since we haven't got them home from the farm yet. We went a little crazy with the boys this year, but they had fun. Triston's favorite thing to play with is his Leapster. I don't mind because he has to learn letters and numbers in order to play it. Zack mostly likes the little things like cars and motorcycles. He carries them everywhere. And I am really excited because Chris' gift to me is that he is either going to make or buy me a bookcase. Yeah I will finally have somewhere to put all of my books besides a box and all over the house. We spent the rest of Christmas day eating eating and more eating. It was so good though. It was a really good Christmas. I think next year however we will just spend Christmas eve and morning at home and go down for food later. There is just toooooo much to take down. And next year we will have another kid. Yikes!!!
The Truck load of gifts. And that isn't all. I didn't even take a picture of the backside of the tree. YIKES!

Zack with his new tools from the show Handy Manny. He is always going around the house with Triston's hammer saying "I got a job to do" and starts "fixing" things. So Cute.

Triston loves board games. So thank goodness santa brought them a few. Ele Fun, Candyland, and go fishing.

Zack with his new motorcycle. Thank you Santa. He broke his old one.

And I was very excited. Brad and Kolleen gave everyone a 72hr kit. With everything already in it. We just have to rotate out some of the food after a year. I have been wanting to take care of this, but have been putting it off so THANK YOU for the gift. And letting us stay at your house.
Chris' cousin Marcus came to visit from California with his two sets of twins. Wow and I thought I was busy. It was fun to let the kids play. The older twins are just a little older than Triston and the younger twins are like 9 mo or so. It was fun. Crazy with all the kids there, but it was fun.
This year we went with Chris' family over to Colorado to visit Sheri and Austin and Spencer. We had only been there the one time to help them move and the boys weren't with us. It was fun to see them and little Spencer. Such a cutie. He had learned how to walk since we had seen him. So that was fun. He kept trying to do things like the older boys. Like jumping of the steps. Course he didn't really do much but fall, thank goodness there were only one or two small steps.

Triston loved this little set of toys. It was the story of the three little pigs. He couldn't get enough of it.

This is at our Hotel room. Wrestling on the bed. That night after we had been asleep for about an hour, I woke up to hear Zack coughing. But it wasn't a normal cough. I knew he had puked. UHG!! It was all over and he was right back asleep in the puke. Thank goodness I didn't have to really clean it up. Sorry for the maids though. Yuck. He did it again the next morning on the way to Sheri's house before church. Come to find out it was the medicine he was on. After that he was just fine.

Playing Atari games.

I have more videos, but they are taking too long so I will have to upload them later. Enjoy!!!!
