2 Weeks

Well Danika is 2 weeks old today. At her Dr. Appt today she weighed in at 8lbs 5oz and is now 21 in long. And she is our first kid to have a head measurement that was NOT off the charts. I actually had to talk to the Dr. about her sleeping through the night, if it was okay. She is just such a sleepy head. He told me it was okay but she really should eat more often. But since she is gaining weight she is fine. It is just so hard to wake her up to eat. She just falls back asleep as soon as she starts eating. It gets a little frustrating to have to fight her to stay awake, but I want her to eat. Any tips? The boys were on a 3hour schedule from day 1. I never really had to fight them to stay awake to eat. Especially Zack. :)But she is doing great. She changes a little every day. She is just such a joy in our home.

Hey you got some wings.... they are super cute, did you get some or are they Merideth's? Anyway, that picture with Danika and the wings is super cute. Oh and seriously I totally wouldn't worry about her sleeping through the night, especially if she is gaining weight. Never worry about their eating schedule if they are gaining weight I say! Seriously though, Brinlee slept through the night at first and was such a perfect sleeper until about three weeks old then she got colic and it all changed from there. So, count your blessings while you have them and take adavantage! Then if she stops gaining weight or loses weight then you can think/worry about it.

She is just so cute in all of those pictures, it was probably fun to take them. I just got the CD of Spencer pictures, thank you for doing that for me. I would update my blog, but the internet won't hold out long enough to do it. Anyways all the pictures are just so darn cute. Love you guys.
we have had to get mean sometimes to have both our boys stay awake to take a full feeding. a cool wipe on the chest or feet, change their diaper and use a wipe, undress them. We at least would do this during the day and then let them sleep at night if they would! such cute pics
