First day of school, and Zack's favorite place to sleep.
January 12, 2009
Well Triston finally got to go to school this last week. We had planned to have him start somewhere else in November when he turned 4 but it didn't work out. Last Monday we went just to look around and check things out at the school. I kept telling him we were not staying. But when the teacher started talking to him he FREAKED out. I haven't ever seen him act like that. Shy yes but he freaked and ran toward a door and sat down and cried hysterically. It was a bit emberrassing. But on Wednesday he was better. He started to cry till the teacher showed him where he got to hang up his stuff and his new bag. Then she showed the toys and he was won over. He now loves school. He is learning to write his name and numbers. If only I could get him to decide for sure if he is a lefty or righty. It is fun to see him learn and meet new friends.
These are pictures of Zack in his old favorite place to sleep. We could put him to bed a million times and he would still sneak out in the hallway to sleep. Most of the time he didn't even use his pillow. His face was on the carpet with his bum in the air. Funny, but then I would have to move him to bed so he didn't get stepped on and he is getting a little heavy. We just recently put Triston downstairs in his own bed and he loves it so Zack is upstairs in Triston's old bed. He sleeps a lot better and has only gotten out once. I let him listen to the read a long Toy Story cd and he goes right to sleep. It has been so nice.

We had the same problem with our kids that you are having with Triston. They would use both their right and left hands to do everything. Tezlin favors his left to eat and write, but his right to do everything else. Kezzley uses her right for everything now, except gymnastics. She does that as a lefty.
