Zack's Birthday and a Pumpkin Patch

Zack turned 2 on the 15th of October, but we had a little family party early for him on Conference weekend in Gunnison. 
Zack's lovely cake. Not as good as yours Marci, but mine wasn't fondant. We couldn't decide what to do and then Zack got excited about a Nemo cake. It turned out pretty good considering I had a migraine when I made it.

Zack is usually more messy and a disaster than Triston ever was, but when it comes to opening presents, they are just the same. Little tiny pieces and a pained look on their face the whole time. So funny.
Then the next week we decided to invite Nick and his family and Emily and her family over for dinner. I wasn't actually going to make a cake, but at the last minute I did and we did Halloween cupcakes. It was a lot of fun to have everyone here. Crazy with all the kids, but we just sent them all downstairs to play.
And no Ruthy I did not strip his clothes off because of the cake he decided to wear his red Jello instead of eat it at dinner.
Chris took the boys on a little ride while they waited for me before we took off for the pumpkin patch. They made the trip with only one little injury. Zack hit the switch for the winch with his face and got a good sized bruise. He was fine though.

This was actually at a dealership. Chris was looking at an old John Deere Tractor and when I turned around the boys were "going for a ride"
On Saturday morning Chris decided to take the family to the Jaker's pumpkin patch in Springville. They had a little maze the boys could go through and then we picked out some pumpkins. Zack really had a hard time walking through all the vines and crap, but we had fun.

Fun! You little baker! One of these days Ill attempt a cake other than rectangle. The pumpkin patch looks like fun. Looks about like the one we went to.

I think your cakes turned out great. I feel bad that you are still having migranes. Can't the doctor do anything for you? How is the pregnancy going? When do you find out if it's a boy or a girl?
