Catching up. . .

September 22, 2008

So I am finally blogging again. Man it's been a while eh!! Well for those of you that don't know, the reason I haven't been blogging is because I am 13 weeks Pregnant. Yeah! However this one has been a doozy. I started to get really sick and then I started to get migraines almost everyday. Those went on for about two weeks. I really didn't feel like doing anything or going anywhere if you can imagine. But I do know for a fact that I am only having one baby because they did an ultrasound to check things. Everyone keeps speculating that it is a girl because everything is so different from my other pregnancies. I am hoping for a girl, but would love a boy just the same. Anyways, so that is my excuse.

So here is my catching up from a while back. This was our second camping trip we made. Chris' family came up for dinner that night too. It was a lot of fun.

So during the night I had gotten up to check on the boys. I checked Triston first and covered him up then went to check on Zack, and I freaked. I couldn't find him. I felt all over the bed, looked behind the chair we had there to keep him from falling off the bed. He was no where to be seen. So I flipped on the lights and there he was under the couch fast asleep. I am glad I didn't kick him in the head when I was reaching over the bed.

These are pictures from the day we went to the Duck Pond with Jen and Sarah Rose from our ward. The boys loved it. They couldn't wait to eat so they could feed the ducks. Zack kept wanting to get in the water. Crazy kid. He can be so mischievous some times. Thanks for inviting us Jen it was fun.

Well this past weekend, Nick took Meredith to have a night away and I got to take the girls down to my mom's. It was so much fun. My mom actually had the boys already from the night before so it was just me and the girls on the way down. Sofie wasn't quite sure of the situation, but she never did cry on the way down. Snacks and movies kept her entertained. She is such a cute funny little sober thing. She made sure Kemry was close by her most of the time. She was pretty much used to everyone by Saturday. I took them all out to the farm on Saturday to play. The girls loved it. Especially Sofie. She was so cute and smiley. It was fun to let them all play. Especially when they played in the dirt pile. It was hard to leave when they were having so much fun. But I knew Nick and Meredith couldn't wait to get their girls back. Nick wouldn't stop calling and texting. Silly!! :)

It was cute how easily Sofie took to liking Grandma Kolleen. Even from the start.

Kolleen and I have always wanted to take some pictures in one of their old willow trees. It was crazy. My boys were soooo not cooperative and the girls just stood there and smiled. Anyways some of them turned out cute.

Then we let them play in the dirt pile. It was so funny. Kemry and Triston were digging holes and Sofie kept trying to get into Kemry's. She slid down on her but a few times. So cute. She was getting more and more daring at walking down the little ramp and then she would look back to make sure we were all looking it was so funny. They had so much fun. We even took them for a little 4-wheeler ride around the farm. They loved it. Sofie was being so funny riding in front of me. She kept opening and closing her mouth like she was trying to catch air or bugs.

When we left the farm we went to Grandma and Grandpa Rosenvall's. They had Alex for a day or two, and when we got there they were out back just hanging out. Grandpa Clyde grows his own grapes out by his garden and he had a bunch they were eating. Sofie walked right up to him and wanted some. It was funny. She just kept eating them and eating them. She really liked them. She even tried a plum from his tree out back. She liked it. After that we went to the Larsen Grandparents and played outside for a few. But of course I didn't not remember to get my camera out. Sofie loved Grandpa Larsen. It was so cute. The kids started getting hungry and tired so we didn't stay long. We grabbed some food and headed north.

Thank you to Brad and Kolleen for watching the boys on Thursday and then taking them down to my mom so late. And thank you to my mom for taking them and then letting me come down with the girls the next day. Don't know what we would ever do without you. Love you. And thanks Nick and Meredith for letting me take the girls. We had so much fun and it was so fun to get to know little Sofie more. Man Nick she is a lot like you. But Cute :) j/k

Congrats again, I'm so excited for you! I'm glad to see you're blogging again! Your page is cute. Oh, you asked where I got my paper from - it's the site that I got my last stuff from. I can't remember the name, it's one of my favorites at home (if you want me to check and let you know, I can). But, I saved it in my photobucket account so you can use it if you want.
